FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q&A

What type of carpet cleaning do you provide?

We are certified in Hot Water Extraction.  Some people call it "Shampooing" or "Steam Cleaning" but, the correct term is Hot Water Extraction.  Our powerful truck mounted equipment provides water at 230 degrees and when it comes out of the wand some does convert to "Steam" right away but that is mostly caused by the vapor pressure.  Similar to when you can see your breath in the cold.

Another method we use is Encapsulation (Encap).  With this method we spray a Polymer Liquid (similar to a liquid plastic if you will) on the entire floor.  This liquid is just room temperature and has little to no smell.  We use a counter rotating brush to "Scrub" the liquid in.  As the liquid sits in the fibers of the carpet, it absorbs all the dirt and oils it touches.  Then when it dries, the oils and dirt stay "encapsulated" in the dried plastic.  These dried particles do not stick to the carpet fibers and are easily removed with a thorough vacuuming.  This works great for businesses that don't want hoses running through their place and/or need to remain open at all times.  Hospitals, retail stores, event centers

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept cash, credit cards (yes, even American Express) or checks.

DO YOU CHARGE BY THE HOUR?

No.  And we don't upsell.  The price we quote is the price.  (plus tax, uncle Sam needs his take)

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR 3 ROOMS OF CARPET?

We are about average in the scale of costs compared to other carpet cleaners.

We hate to say a price based on rooms because some people's houses have rooms that are huge.  While on others, we will quote a "Price per Room" and find out they have 6 dogs, a ferret and the son changed his dirt bike's oil in the living room while the parent's are expecting to get their deposit back.

To be honest, if you are shopping around for the cheapest carpet cleaner, we probably aren't it.
